Attendee Registration FAQ
E3 is a professional trade event and is not open to the general public. Individuals who are not able to document their direct and current professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry are not qualified to attend.
E3 is not open to the general public. You must be part of the interactive entertainment industry in order to attend the show, and you must be able to provide documentation demonstrating your direct and current professional affiliation to this industry. To be considered for registration, two forms of industry ID must accompany your online application. At least one form of industry ID must contain both your name and the name of the company where you work. Incomplete applications will not be processed and the management of E3 reserves the right to deny any applicant admission.
In order to apply for FREE admission as a member of the interactive entertainment industry, you must submit two of the credentials listed below. At least one document must contain both your name and the name of your company.
All registrants should also include their company's website address which should be a fully operational site through which your Company Business can be validated. Registrants must have a valid employee email address to which their final E3 confirmation can be sent.
Instructions for submitting these credentials will be provided to you during the online Registration Application process.
Acceptable forms of EMPLOYEE/COMPANY ID include:
- Insurance Card listing both employee name and company name
- Paycheck Stub verifying current full-time employment within the industry
- Company Credit Card listing both employee name and company name
- W-2 Form
- Current Business License indicating type of business
- Current Retail Sales Tax License
- Current Resale Tax Certificate
- Invoices within the last 6 months that show purchases of products related to the industry (with the registrant's name appearing on the invoice)*
- Current Federal resale tax certificate (VAT)
- Current IDGA Membership Card
*Retail Attendees are eligible for complimentary admission to E3 only if they are responsible for company purchasing. If you are unable to document your buying power by supplying company invoices, purchase orders or other purchasing transactions, you may qualify for a paid admission. International Attendees should submit similar credentials unique to their country that confirm their employment in the interactive entertainment industry.
AGENCY Employees wishing to attend E3 should submit two of the Company/Employee IDs listed above as well as:
- The URL to a website that documents your company's attachment to the interactive entertainment industry
- An official listing of the clients that you support within the interactive entertainment industry
All registrants are subject to review and approval by Show Management. You will be contacted via email if we require more information or further clarification.
During the E3 online registration process, you will be prompted to upload electronic versions of your industry credentials. The documents can be uploaded at that time or you can choose to log back into your registration dashboard at a later date. The deadline for uploading your industry credentials is April 28, 2016. Please note that your E3 registration will not be finalized until you provide your industry credentials for approval.
Show management will contact you if your credential documents are approved or denied, or if additional information is required.
You will receive an email confirming or denying your registration request approximately two weeks after you successfully upload your two industry credentials - making your registration application complete. Show Management will contact you directly if additional information is required. The deadline for uploading your industry credentials is April 28, 2016.
Yes. Registration will be available online and on-site at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) through show dates. The admission charge after April 28, 2016, is $995 for a three-day show floor pass.
Attendee visa letters are distributed through the E3 registration system. In order to receive a visa letter, you will need to complete the entire registration process. All international registrants will be asked if they require a visa letter when completing the online registration form. A visa letter will be automatically emailed to all international guests when their registration is confirmed.
No. E3 Attendee badges will NOT be mailed prior to the show. All Attendees must pick up their badge on site at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Confirmed registrants will receive a confirmation email with a barcode when their registration is finalized. Registrants should print the confirmation and bring it with them to the Los Angeles Convention Center where their barcode will be scanned and they will receive their printed badge and badge holder. Confirmation bar codes can also be scanned from Attendee's mobile devices. All Attendees must present a valid government issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) when picking up their badge/badge holder.
You can request a duplicate confirmation by logging onto your E3 Attendee registration dashboard, using the username and password that you created during the registration process.
No, badges will NOT be mailed to Attendees residing outside of the U.S. International Attendees (including Canada) can pick up their badge and badge holder at the International Registration counter located in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Translation services will be also available. All Attendees must present a valid government issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) when picking up their badge/badge holder.
All Attendees can pick up their badge and badge holders on-site at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Badge Pick-up Counters will open on June 12th at 1:00 pm and will be located outside both the South and West Hall Lobbies. Registrants should print their confirmation and bring it with them to the Los Angeles Convention Center where their barcode will be scanned and they will receive their printed badge and badge holder. All Attendees must present a valid government issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) when picking up their badge/badge holder. Confirmation barcodes can also be scanned from mobile devices.

All registration fees are non-refundable.
No. All E3 registrations are non-transferable. Badge swapping or sharing is strictly prohibited. Anyone found using another person's badge will have the badge confiscated and will be asked to leave the premises.
Yes, individuals under the age of 17, including infants, will not be admitted to E3.
