E3 2016 brings together interactive entertainment professionals from more than 100 countries. As you begin making your plans to attend this year, please take a moment and review the procedures for obtaining a visa. It's never too early to start securing travel arrangements. Remember, that advanced planning by foreign travelers is absolutely critical, and that the timeframes for visa processing can vary significantly from country to country.

Visitors to the U.S. from visa-waiver countries are required to register online and be authorized for entry as part of the new Electronic System for Travel Authorization (in English).

E3 2016 distributes visa letters through our registration system. In order to receive a visa letter, you will need to complete the entire registration process. A letter will be automatically emailed to all international guests when their registration is confirmed.

In order to apply for free admission as a member of the interactive entertainment industry, you must submit two of the credentials listed here. Your registration will not be complete until you submit two forms of Industry Identification. During the E3 online registration process, you will be prompted to upload electronic versions of your industry credentials. The documents can be uploaded at that time or you can choose to log back into your registration dashboard at a later date. The deadline for uploading your industry credentials is April 28, 2016. Please note that your E3 registration will not be finalized until you provide your industry credentials for approval.

At least one form of Industry Identification must contain both your name and the name of your company. Incomplete applications will not be processed. The management of E3 2016 reserves the right to deny any applicant admission.

International attendees should submit similar credentials unique to their country that confirm their employment in the interactive entertainment industry.

International guests can pick up their badges and badge holders at the International Registration counter located on-site in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Translation services will be available. All confirmed attendees will receive a confirmation email containing a bar code.

To receive your E3 badge and badge holder, simply print your confirmation and bring it to an International Registration counter where your barcode will be scanned. Confirmation bar codes can also be scanned from your mobile device. Please note you must also present a valid government issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) in order to pick up your E3 badge.

Be sure to visit the lounge created just for you.

The lounge is open during show hours and is located on the second floor between the 300 and 400 Meeting Room overlooking South Hall Lobby.
